I have one more suggestion in regard to your heating elements in your home made bators. When using light bulbs as your heat source ,you should only use ceramic bulb receptacles and not plastic. In the event of problem the plastic will start to melt and the bulb could lean and touch the wood or Styrofoam and cause it to ignite.Ceramic is also rated for higher watt rated bulbs.I'm not sure what type Custom Incubators uses.And always buy quality light bulbs.
