Warning - Graphic images - not for the faint hearted

Hi, I took my ISA brown to the vet as she was not well - lethargic droopy comb, losing weight. Vet treated her for Gape worm and we treated them again (2 other australorps) the next week. This morning I found this in the driveway....






The chicken is still alive, eating and drinking and running around - is this the gape worm or something else??

WOW I don't know what to make of the photos. You may want to post at "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures," thread. The folks there are more knowledgeable than I am. I am glad your chicken is up and about.
