Has anyone considered Hydrogen Peroxide? I have a chicken here and she looked really bad. Tore the skin off her neck, really gross. Gave her amoxicillin and sprayed neosporin on it but then it looked wet. So I had my daugher pour hydrogen peroxide on it while held her. Sunday. Looks really good now. Wednesday. Just checked her and I might have to do it again but there is skin there. She won't have feathers there but I'm real happy with how it looks. Pinkish and looks healthy. I was reluctant at first but it looks good now.
Used this method on my cats when they get in scrapes. Just pour it on and leave it.
Though I must confess that is a pretty bad looking wound. You've got to get that infection out.
I got a blister yesterday, put some peroxide on it and neosporin, a bandage and today it looks good and no pain.
Not everything old is bad and not everything new is good.
Hey! I'm old and I'm good, or at least I try to be.
