Hushpad smiled "Swiftkit", she said touching the calico kit that seemed to have a mask on. "Stormkit" She touched the all grey kitten "Flamekit" The orange and black stripe "Skykit" The calico with the fan of orange on her head "Duskkit" The dark calico "And Eaglekit" the grey and white kitten"
Duskkit was the runt of the litter and nuzzled as close as she could to her mother's side while nursing
Stormkit pushed a sibling away so she could nurse
Flamekit, one of the larger kittens mearly claimed a place and didn't let the others push him away.
 
" I love them" he said.

Skykit mewled as she was pushed aside.
Eaglekit who was next to biggest settled beside his brother Firekit.
Swiftkit curled up and went to sleep.

Hushpad smiled gently moving Skykit so she could nurse. She watched them then looked to Bearstar "I really thought there were only four, but there are six." She said shaking her head slightly.
Stormkit, Flamekit and Duskkit nursed until they were tired then curled up to sleep with Swiftkit.
 
Hushpad woke and stretched, sitting up to clean her sleep rumpled fur, then moving to the kittens to clean their fur.
Flamekit, first to awaken to Hushpad's grooming moved to nurse
Stormkit woke, but blindly headed away from Hushpad
Duskkit woke mewing to the others before moving to nurse eagerly
