She flicked her left ear to show she heard him. She found and killed three more ticks then groomed herself.

Blazestar nodded. " That feels better." He licked her head.

Blazestar settled down for a nights sleep. He walked up to Dawnblaze. " Good night." Dawnblaze dipped his head. Blazestar yawned. Mistpaw did not have any moss tonight.

Mistpaw slept in the back of the cave. She didn't feel cold although she shook and she didn't feel hungry although her belly rumbled. She didn't even feel sad although tears fell. She closed her eyes and slowly drifted into sleep.

She let sleep take over but woke up at dawn. Her eyes flew open and her head flung up. She had awoken with a scream and was hot with fear. The first feeling she had since what happened and it had been fear. She sat up on all fours since her paw felt way better. She panted.
