Skyfall nodded to Red paw as a fat rat scurried from the barn. "Close, be quiet, timing has to be perfect."
"I know!" Redpaw whined, tired of the constant lesson. he stalked forward, staying down wind and out of sight. he closed in through the tall grass. he lifted his ever so silghtly, looking down on his prey. he sprang high and then dropped down, missing by nearly a foot.
 
He purred. "So, let's go hunting together tomorrow! If that's okay with you, of course..." He smiled sheepishly.
 
Skyfall scaled Redpaw for missing such an easy catch. "If you didn't play around you wouldn't have missed."
Redpaw grumbled, he hadn't played around, he had done it all right, it wasn't his fault, this was his first hunt. 'Why does she have to treat me that way.' He wondered.
Skyfall stalked into the grass,disappearing from sight, seconds later the grass rustled and out she came holding two mice. "Here." She said dropping one in front of him.
Redpaw grabbed his up and walked off a little ways to eat.

Specklefur stepped over grass, cracking twigs. She kept glanced around anxiously, snapping at her kits to get them to hush.
