Quote: She dipped her head.
Stormy thought, I better get back to the twolegs, before Misty worries. "I have to go." he said. "Nice meeting you." He walked back towards twoleg place. She dipped her head.
"Bye." he said. "I would stay longer, but I don't want my sister to worry about me." He continued walking."Um...Bye?" She said.
Sandkit stepped forward, nervously. She hoped they weren't in trouble for something.(Your charries are in, silkie)
"I, Maplestar, leader of ShadowClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn." Maplestar began, "Nettlepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?
"I do," Nettlepaw promised.
"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Nettlepaw, from this moment you will be known as Nettlespot. StarClan honors your loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ShadowClan."
Maplestar rested her muzzle on Nettlespot's head, and Nettlespot respectfully licked her shoulder. The Clan then yowled, "Nettlespot! Nettlespot!"
"Windkit, Sunkit." Maplestar began, "You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day forward, until you receive your warrior names, you will be known as Windpaw and Sunpaw. Your mentors will be Kestrelflight and Thorntail. I hope they will pass down all that they know to you." Kestrelflight and Thorntail stepped forward. "Kestrelflight, you are ready to take on another apprentice. You received excellent training from Ryewhisker many moons ago, and you have shown yourself countless times to be an exceptionally loyal and brave warrior. You will be the mentor of Sunpaw, and I expect you to pass down all you know to Sunpaw just as exceptionally as you have to your apprentices in the past."
Kestrelflight dipped his head, touching noses with Sunpaw. Thorntail did the same with Windpaw. "Sunpaw! Windpaw! Sunpaw! Windpaw!" the Clan yowled.
"In addition," Maplestar called, hushing the Clan. "Sandkit, Bristlekit, please come forward."
Quote: "This leafbare has proven to be especially tough," Maplestar said. "We have more warriors in the medicine den from greencough and fewer kits and apprentices than ever. Prey is few and far between, and more and more dog sightings are being reported each moon. You all heard the news from WindClan last Gathering about one of their queens who has disappeared. We are in hard times, ShadowClan, and I fear that it is going to get worse before it gets better. Our loyal deputy, Silverstripe, found these two wild kits. It is for this reason, that we will offer to take them in. Sandkit, Bristlekit, do you wish to join ShadowClan as apprentices and take on the life of a Clan cat?"
"Remember," Silverstripe mewed to Bristlekit and Sandkit, coming to sit by her leader, "Maplestar is only offering you training and the possibility of becoming a warrior. It is not promised; Clan life might be too rough for you. But the rewards are worth it."
"Yes!" Bristlekit said, excitedly."This leafbare has proven to be especially tough," Maplestar said. Quote: Maplestar nodded. There was a bit of a mixed reaction from the Clan, but Maplestar hushed them with a twitch of her tail. "Very well. From this day foward, until you receive your warrior name or otherwise, you will be known as Bristlepaw and Sandpaw. Silverstripe and Stormtail will be your mentors, and I hope that they pass down all that they know to you." As Stormtail stepped forward, Maplestar looked to Silverstripe. "Silverstripe, we don't have many able warriors left, but I feel confident that you can take on another apprentice." Silverstripe nodded. "You received excellent training as an apprentice," she continued, almost carefully as she noticed a few pelts begin to bristle, "and despite many hardships you've had in the past, you've proved yourself to have undying loyalty to your Clan, as well as brave and strong. I hope you will pass down all that you know to Bristlepaw, as you did with Nettlepaw.
Silverstripe stepped over to touch noses with Bristlepaw.
"Stormtail, I believe it is time you took on your own apprentice. You received excellent training from Brackenwing, and have shown yourself countless times to be as loyal and brave as your sister. You will be the mentor of Sandpaw, and I expect you to pass down all that you know to her."
Stormtail nodded, moving alongside Silverstripe to touch noses with Sandpaw.
