Silverpaw blinked, then it dawned on her what she was supposed to do. She leaped, extending her paws and reminding herself to keep her claws sheathed.

"Can you get Hailkit back in here?" Cloudbreeze asked, "I'm kinda stuck..." her tail wrapped around Nightkit, who was sleeping contentedly by her mother's belly. "He's driving everybody nuts."

Shadowpelt grinned, ducked under her, and pushed up at her belly as she flew.

Troutfur nodded, and slipped his head out of the nursery.

Silverstream's smile faded as she caught sight of the look Troutfur gave her. She looked down at her kittens. Two toms and a she-cat. My, he looks just like his father. She thought, nuzzling the black kit, a sad smile creeping across her face. Licking her kittens, she thought of names.

Silverpaw grunted, having the air knocked out of her. She twisted in mid air, landing neatly on her paws and taking another lunge at Shadowpelt.

Hailkit scrabbled on the Highrock, trying to jump on. "I'm Hailstar of RiverClan!" He yewled. "I want all cats old enough to swim to gather beneath the Highrock! Right now!" He almost fell off as a tiny rock slipped. Purring, Cloverwhisker and Pinefur sat down in front of the Highrock to watch Hailkit, but ready in case he slipped and fell.

Honeypaw just scoffed rudely and pointedly turned her back as she ate her fresh-kill. "Stupid furball," she muttered with contempt about Hailkit.

Shadowpelt yowled, twisting, but purposely slow so Silverpaw's paw smacked his face. "Oof!" He grunted, stumbling.

Troutfur slunk up to the highrock, "Hailstar!" He hissed, his eyes wide. "I'm Darkpack! I'm going to attack your clan!" He joked, crouching, ready for the kittens attack.

Silverpaw sat down, "like that?"

Troutfur cracked a grin, and began to yowl pitifully. "Oh no! I'm caught! I'm caught!" He wailed, rolling over onto his back.

"Yay!" Silverpaw yowled happily, bounding around in circles. "Now let's go kill WindClan! Or RiverClan!"

Hailkit dove for his tail, before he was interruped by his mother. "Hailkit!" She called, "are you bothering Troutfur?"

"No, Cloudbreeze," Hailkit mumbled.

"Yay!" Silverpaw yowled happily, bounding around in circles. "Now let's go kill WindClan! Or RiverClan!"

Hailkit dove for his tail, before he was interruped by his mother. "Hailkit!" She called, "are you bothering Troutfur?"

"No, Cloudbreeze," Hailkit mumbled.

Shadowpelt's jaws parted into a broad smile. "Soon, soon." He chuckled. "For now, lets just practice battle moves. So you can join us in a raid! Alright?"

Troutfur looked toward the nursery, then smiled. "C'mon Hailstar, lets go back to the nursery." He reached down to pick up the kitten's scruff.

Silverpaw waved her tail excitedly. "Yay!"

"I don't want to go in there!" Hailkit whined, wriggling.

Shadowpelt smiled, then without warning, he launched himself at Silverpaw. Batting his paws toward her face, but, he was careful to be gentle.

Troutfur smiled, "I know, I know. Don't you want to hear stories of battles in the past? I'm sure your mother would be happy to tell them to you.." He trailed off, hoping what he said was true.

Silverstream curled her tail around Ashkit, who had wriggled out of the nest and was squirming toward Cloudbreeze. "No, no, no. You come back here." She chuckled. Ashkit let out a pitiful mew, looking around with his eyes closed tight. Rainkit mewled, curling under her mother's fur.
