Honeypelt gave a curt nod, and headed back to the growing circle, where hunting patrols were being organized.

They padded toward the hunting patrol. This was there first, and were excited.

Cottonfur, Ebonyclaw, and Desertstorm padded around camp, showing off. Ebonyclaw, itched to go somewhere: hunting patrol, border patrol, etc

As the hunting patrol left, Honeypelt made her way towards a squirrel.

Sunfire was forming a border patrol with Thrushpelt.

Ivypool, Poisonpounce, and Reedtail split apart. Reedtail crouched down low when she saw a plump mouse. It was nibbling on some nut. Reedtail crept forward silently. Before the mouse knew, Reedtail jumped out and gave it a swift bite to the neck. She thanked Starclan, and butried it in earth. Poisonpounce was prowling around. She had caught the scent of vole. She licked her lips. She then started toward it. Ivypool, was on her second mouse. Now on her third.

Cottonfur trotted over, while the rest were walking just behind her. They joined Thrushpelt and Sunfire for the border patrol.

Nightshadow fished by the river. Honeypelt resisted the urge to swish her tail as she saw a robin pecking at the ground. Bunching her hind legs, she pounced, biting its neck quickly. She murmured a quick thanks to StarClan, before scraping earth over it and moving on.

Sunfire marked his scent on a tree by Sunningrocks. Thrushpelt growled as he sniffed the air by the rocks, "RiverClan's been trespassing yet again!"

Ebonyclaw hissed." There get their fur ripped out if I catch them on are territory again!" She hissed out, fur bristled. Cottonfur growled, saying nothing. Desertstorm, gone, marking another area.

Poisonpounce, finally catching up to the scent, stood a mouse. She froze. She then pounced on it so fast she it would be impossible to see her. The mouse was crushed under her weight and she scraped earth over it, giving her thanks. Reedtail gave a quick bite to the fattest vole she had ever seen. She scraped earth over it, prowling around. Ivypool went to the river, ( close to the sunning rocks) she spotted a toad. She grinned, crouched down, and prowled toward it.

A loud squawking screeched over Sunflash's head as a pheasant burst out of the bushes. Afterwards, the lithe shape of Riverfall followed, taking a leap at the pheasant. "Get over here!" She yowled as she was left with only a mouthful of feathers. She chased it around the clearing noisily.
Sunflash suppressed a purr of amusement before giving chase. Knowing she would look very foolish she launched herself off of a log with a wild screech. Right in front of the pheasant. Momentarily startled by the cat flying in its face it slowed its flying just enough for Riverfall to catch up.

Blackcloud growled, stalking a mouse in the grass. She pounced, but it ran. She managed to catch its tail in her teeth, and swiftly killed it. She saw Ivypool out of the corner of her eye, and bristled. "Just cross that river," Blackcloud muttered under her breath, too quiet for anyone to hear her.

Riverfall lunged for the pheasant's tail feathers, grabbing them in her jaws. The colorful bird screeched and squawked wildly, flapping its wings as it tried to get away. Riverfall wrestled with it; the pheasant eventually grew tired, and Riverfall managed to pin it, giving it a swift, painless bite to the neck to kill it. "Thanks," she panted to Sunflash, before murmuring a silent prayer of thanks to StarClan.
