(haha!)

Silverstripe bounded to her mentor. "Shadowpelt!" She purred, brushing her muzzle into his shoulder. "Can you believe it?"
(Lol!)

Shadowpelt purred loudly, "No, Silverstripe, I almost can't!" He laughed, batting his paws playfully at her.

Silverstripe purred, her tail twitching playfully. "Can we still train later at sunhigh today?"

Shadowpelt's face fell, "Well, I can't go at sunhigh, I need to do something." He curled his tail around her's, purring like no tomorrow. "Would you like to hunt now?"

"Sure," Silverstripe purred. "What you doing at sunhigh?" She asked curiously.

"Uh, nothing. Just hunting, and... just nothing." Shadowpelt nodded matter-of-factly. "Come on." He mewed, changing the subject. He pelted out of the camp, and headed into the forest, motioning for Silverstripe to follow.

Silverstripe cocked her head to the side, why doesn't he trust me? But she said nothing as she pelted after him.

Shadowpelt zipped under bushes, disrupting a resting flock of quail. The birds took off in all directions, with Shadowpelt on their heels. He dove out for one, catching one by the tail. He killed it with a swift bite, and looked around for Silverstripe.

Silverstripe was hot on the trail of a rabbit. She sprang as soon as she was close enough, but it bolted. "Mouse dung!" She hissed, chasing it. She wasn't even aware of how close she was getting to the Thunderpath...

Shadowpelt picked up his catch, and saw Silverstripe whiz by. He bolted after her, watching her all the way.

The rabbit scrambled onto the Thunderpath, and instead of slowing down, Silverstripe pushed harder, determined to catch it. With the blood roaring in her ears, she didn't even hear the monster screaming down the Thunderpath, until it was too late...
