~Warriors RP~ ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan

"I love you too, Silverstripe," Hailpaw sighed. "I can't stand being in RiverClan without you."

Silvestripe looked around. "Come back with me to ShadowClan, Hailpaw," she pleaded.

Hailpaw's eyes widened for a second. "I will when I finish my apprenticeship," he promised.

Silverstripe purred, brushing against him again.
Little did they know, that Shadowpelt was watching them. He wore an expression of shock, but happiness. Silverstripe was in love, and happy. It was good to see.

"Troutfur... I'm... I'm gonna have kits!"
Troutfur's eyes grew huge. "What?" He breathed, backing away. His expression was that of utter fear, and horror. "No.. no, that can't happen! Specklefur.. no!"

Silverstripe shifted uncomfortably. "What if someone sees us?"

"I'll be a ShadowClan cat soon enough. Why can't we be mates now?"

Silverstripe relaxed a bit, "you're right."

Hailpaw looked at the sun; it was almost sunhigh. "Crap! I'm supposed to do my fighting assessment at sunhigh." He gave Silverstripe a lick on the ear. "Tomorrow, just after sunrise?"

"Yup." The two cats parted, Hailpaw going to RiverClan while Silverstripe went back to ShadowClan.

"What do I do?!" Specklefur cried. Her bulging belly proved that kits were, indeed, not far away. Probably half a moon.

Shadowpelt shifted to balance his weight, then began to trail Silverstripe. He thought better of it though, and circled around. He emerged from the bushes, his eyes glowing. "Oh, hey Silverstripe." He greeted her, smiling.

"I don't know!" Troutfur yowled, his ears back. He took deep breaths, and soon calmed himself. "Specklefur, I don't know what to do. I love you, very much, but I'm so afraid... what will happen?" He licked her cheek, breathing in her scent. "I don't want anything to happen to you, or them."

Silverstripe looked behind her, "hi, Shadowpelt," she greeted him. She looked a bit fidgety, clearly worried if he had seen her with Hailpaw.

Specklefur forced herself to calm down. "I guess we could say that... it was Smokewhisker," she suggested meekly. She knew that Smokewhisker was in love with her.

"Out hunting?" He asked, turning to go back to camp.

Troutfur's eyes dulled. He stood there, almost as if in a trance, thinking about what she had just said. NO! I will not become like Silverstream NO! NEVER! He bellowed in his head. A small voice spoke quietly, meekly after him. You already have, Troutfur. There is no turning back. You will become a father whether you like it or not. You can't get around that. Troutfur hung his head, his tail limp on the ground.

"Y-yeah," she stuttered, her pawsteps quick and jumpy.

"I'm sorry, Troutfur," Specklefur mewed quietly.

(Brb, gotta clean the chick's brooder and vacuum the disaster zone (aka my room))

"You alright?" Shadowpelt asked, cocking his head. He knew why she was nervous, and he couldn't blame her.

Troutfur didn't reply, only stared at the ground for a few more seconds. Then, he lifted his head, looking at his mate straight in the eyes. "I love you Specklefur." He murmured, nodding slightly. "I know we'll figure something out. I will leave it up to you to uncover whether the kits are mine. You'll know what to do." He nodded solemnly, but his eyes were sparkling. He couldn't wait to see his kits.

(Back!)

"Y-yeah, of course!" She forced a smile, but it was uneasy. Her ears twitched, and she looked ready to run at any second.

Specklefur gave a small smile, brushing against his shoulder. "They'll be great. They'll be as brave and handsome as you." She purred.
