~Warriors RP~ ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan

Riverfall didn't pay Vipertail much heed as she headed to the elders' den with a couple of birds. She came back out shortly later, heading to the fresh-kill pile. She gave the rabbit a longing look, but settled for a squirrel instead. She took it by the warriors' den to eat it, clearly deep in thought as she ate.
Vipertail still groomed himself in front of the Warrior's den. He saw she wasn't much of a talker and understood that. He looked over at her when she sat near him though, though he continued to groom his spotted pelt with his golden fur under them. He yawned and licked his lips and grabbed a somewhat plump mouse and padded back to his same spot that he was earlier and ate the mouse in a few bites. He licked his lips and whiskers of the juices after he finished it.

Riverfall stretched elegantly, her tail quivering a bit as she did so. She mewed a greeting to Vipertail, giving her back a few quick, firm licks.
Vipertail was a bit surprised she greeted him, so he nodded to her and purred a bit. He licked his paw and cuffed it over his ear to somewhat clean it as if it was dirty.

"His name is Troutfur," Specklefur explained. "He's an incredible warrior, and I hope you grow up to be just like him." There was pride in Specklefur's voice.

"Yay!" Ebonykit exclaimed, before suddenly looking alarmed. "Wait... what if he doesn't like me?" she wailed. They were coming closer to Fourtrees, and Specklefur could see the clearing. Please be there, Troutfur!

Troutfur sat down, curling his tail around his paws. In another second he was up, and heading back toward Riverclan when a happy squeal reached his ears. "MAMA! LOOK!" Specklefur's tiny tom yowled, bouncing in place. Troutfur's eyes met with his mate's and instantly he knew what had happened. He was a father!

"That's him!" Specklefur purred, trotting a bit to keep up with her kits. Ebonykit shot out of the bracken like a bullet. Her eyes grew to the size of saucers in astonishment.

"He looks just like me!" She exclaimed. Shadowkit had to run to keep up beside her sister, her own eyes huge with wonder. Specklefur purred with happiness.

Kestrelflight padded into the medicine den to get his wounds looked at once everyone else had gotten a chance. He had refused to go inside once everyone else had. Rumors were abuzz in the air that he would be the next deputy after Pebbleclaw's death, not to mention his betrayal which had nearly costed Silverstripe and Maplestar's lives.... if it didn't soon. But somehow, Kestrelflight doubted it. He didn't really care to be deputy; he just wanted to serve his Clan. "How is Maplestar?" Kestrelflight asked Cloudshade hesitantly, eyeing the battered, bloody form of the ShadowClan leader, who looked so fragile now and far from the proud leader she had just been before the attack. Cobwebs were strewn over her throat, across her body, and the pungent and sharp scents of many herbs radiated off her. They nearly drowned out her actual scent, and her pelt was stiff with dried blood. Kestrelflight's heart skipped a beat as he saw the grief in Cloudshade's eyes. "Has she..." he trailed off.

Cloudshade was solemn. "Lost a life?" She filled in for him, "yes."

"How many does she have left?"

Cloudshade sighed. "She only has so many more, before she will leave us to join StarClan."

Kestrelflight's paws trembled, but there was relief in there, too. Maplestar probably wasn't going to die, after all. His gaze shifted to Silverstripe, and his heart sank to his paws. "W-what about her?" He asked, almost afraid to know the answer.

Cloudshade was silent for a minute. To say that she would be fine would be a lie, but the truth would upset Kestrelflight he would have a horribly difficult time recovering from both the physical and emotional wounds, not to mention break his heart. "Her fate is in StarClan's paws now," she answered finally, her voice a bit grim. Kestrelflight looked on sadly at his daughter, who was motionless besides the faint rise and fall of her chest, and the foreboding quiet, but raspy sound of each breath caused by the blood in her airways. His eyes held all the pain in the world as he padded out of Cloudshade's den without another word.

Vipertail was out hunting in the forest, he got into a stalking position as he saw a beautiful starling near a small oak tree. He edged forward slowly hoping not to let it see him, yet stood still for a moment and watched it forage around in the fallen leaves of the tree. He paused yet again as be began to creep near it, he loved the colors it had on it's feathers. They were quite mesmerizing to him that he let it fly off.

He sighed knowing he had failed but at least he didn't scare off any prey in the immediate area around him, later he caught a Squirrel and a plump mouse. He brought them back to camp and dropped it off at the freshkill pile. He sat in the clearing and pondered on what he would do that day.

Troutfur's eyes grew enormous at the sight of his kittens running towards him. Two little toms bounded along towards him, until one tripped and fell, causing the other one to fall as well. He suppressed a laugh, and began walking towards them.

Shadowpelt stumbled to the medicine den, his paws numb with pain. "C-cloudshade." he said meekly, watching Kestrelflight leave. His heart pounded in his chest, and his head throbbed painfully. "A-are they..." he gulped, unable to finish.

"Get- over here!" Riverfall chased a pheasant in the forest. She leaped at it, but was left with only a mouthful of feathers. She spat them out, before leaping at it again. With a satisfying crunch, she broke its neck and brought it back to the camp.

Specklefur purred as she sat down. "Meet your kits, Troutfur," she mewed happily, "Ebonykit, and Shadowkit." She pointed with her tail to the two she-kits, before pointing to the toms. "You get to name them." She purred as she licked a paw.

Cloudshade gave a grim sigh. "Maplestar lost a life," she replied, her voice low. "I'm not going to say anything about what their fate is; both of them are in StarClan's paws now." But it looks bleak, for especially for Silverstripe she added silently as she went to the back for more herbs.
