I have googled this on your site and have seen several threads but no resolution. I have about 4 week old chicks. I noticed about a week ago one had a weird looking beak but haven't taken time to inspect until tonight when I noticed here eye was swollen shut. Then I inspected my other checks and noticed that they all are starting to have the gross on their week and blister looking things on top of their eyes. It has to be some sort of disease otherwise they wouldn't all be showing symptoms.

This looks like pox to me, especially in the last picture. Are they showing any signs of respiratory problems? I have never seen pox on the beak before, but I guess it is possible.

No signs of respiratory issues... They all act like normal chicks... I'll guess I'll wait it out to see if they recover...

There is a dry pox and a wet pox... I *think* only one of them causes respiratory issues, but could be wrong... I suggest searching both wet and dry fowl pox... I can't remember treatment, but do believe it is contagious to other birds (don't know if you have others), but you do want to treat it as it will only keep getting worse...
Wish I could help more, but hopefully someone more knowledgeable will see this post and respond...

One of my chicks got a small black wart on one of its nostrils... the wart is growing fast each day and not its a huge lump on the top of its beak. I had one like this the last hatch.. but the wart stopped growing and eventually fell off after several weeks. I hope it stops growing soon on this one. Maybe its a genetic thing?

I don't know what it is but all of my new checks got it and as you mentioned before all of them fell off after a while. I think it may be a form of pox

I got the same prob with my chicks. However, all of them is very active except one which seems to be noticeably quiet and sleepy. When I try to hold it in my hands, it seems to be irritated. They are just 19 days old btw. Is there anything I can do for them? Or just leave it the way it is.
