Wart like growth on hen's ear.. what is it?

We have a 4 year old Americauna hen that has a wart like growth coming out of her ear. Scaley and hard. Very weird looking. Not inflamed. She acts normal and doesn't seem to be in pain.Anyone seen this before?

Sounds like dry fowl pox, hopefully this is the case as it is not too bad. I'll try and find some info.
