If you can show individual pics of the Wyandottes, showing side profile of face, with good view of comb, that will help. Agreed, you have a pretty little EE cockerel.

They're hatchery quality, which explains why the lacing isn't as even as it should be.Thanks! Can EE have muffs? All mine do, which is another reason I was hoping for Ameraucana. The one being a cockerel explains the behavior. He/she is chasing them around the coop and run, and actually bit one on the neck! She turned around and nailed him/her back though. I was hoping for all pullets. When does crowing start?
I have a question about this piece. Or, more of a clarification to the issue.Ear tufts (this gene is lethal to developing chicks if inherited by both parents)
I don't know genetics enough to answer that one...I have a question about this piece. Or, more of a clarification to the issue.
All birds have to have the Ear Tufts but if both parents have them, it's a lethal gene? So, you have to breed substandard (non tufted?) birds each generation and only show the tufted ones? Or is it like Bb where 2 Bb could equal BB Bb or bb and bb is non tufted, BB is lethal, and Bb is tufted and alive??
Fair enough. I can researchI don't know genetics enough to answer that one...
