... so here I am! After two failed flocks last year (one eaten by the dog, one slaughtered because of vent gleet) I've got a mixed flock of 21 hens and two roosters. I joined because there's no one nearby willing to talk chickens with me, and I have been gratefully using this forum for months to diagnose problems with my birds.
