Was told it was a frizzle but it’s got 5 toes

If I remember correctly, frizzle is a feather characteristic, not a breed.
So the fifth toe doesn't bother me.
The feathers don't look frizzle though.

I have a cochin like that. It might have some silkie in its genes, or it can be a defect.

It does appear to have some Silkie in it.

5 toes are common to silkies, faverolle, sultan, and dorking. She could be a cross breed. Most likely is. But i have seen some very beautiful silkie crosses. Very pretty already if ya ask me.

‘Frizzle’ Isn’t a breed, its a feather characteristic. So fifth toe doesn't mean a thing.

That’s a silkie mix. Frizzle are the feather type not a breed. Maybe it was bred with a frizzle feathered chicken and was meant to be a frizzle.
