Washed eggs

I washed my chicken eggs (just laid this morning) but then forgot about them and left them sitting on the counter for nine hours. Should I toss them?

They should be fine. When in doubt crack them into a bowl before cooking

I'd probably cook them well and feed them to my dogs, as an overabundance of caution.

Before I had chickens I would sometimes leave store eggs on the counter for a week when I was short fridge space.

Now I wash eggs and leave them on the counter for a week when I want to be able to peel hard-boiled eggs.
