So got washed river sand for the coop and for the droppings board. All the research have done seems to be pointing that this is the best in their coop.

When got it today, it was slightly damp. No soaked or anything but damp. t is supposed to be 102 degrees today, no wind, hecka hot! :( SO should let the sand dry out before let the girls run around in it, or should not worry since t will be 102?

I ask because I know that coccidosis thrives in damp enviroments so I worry I will be introducing my girls at a high risk?
