Washing Baby Chicks

Can I wash my 1 1/2 to 2 week old chicks? I just got some today (after my dog killed the last two

....) and they are covered in poo from the feed store. The one I am really wanting to wash is a Rhode Island Red.

I have washed them that young...or at least part of them when they get pasty. I would just make sure you dry them well afterward, I use a hairdryer on a low setting and put them back under the heat lamp. Haven't had a problem yet. Good luck!
