I just came back from my show. Putting it on short-mode, 1 received 4 awards with my Sultan, this one pullet. Neither of my other two birds won me any awards!
First one-1st place Best of Class, blue ribbon.
Second-1st place Best Hen, a trophy!
Third-1st place Best of Show, another trophy.
Forth-2nd place Reserve Champion Showmanship! Another ribbon!
The exhibition wasn't too big but it was judged by 2 cull-heavy top quality exhibition breeders. And they loved my Sultan. Miss Rozzy was excellent with the kids and the judges commented great things about her back and forth to each other, in front of me. I'm happy to say she's going to the New York State Fair this late August. Rosaline was a show-stopper. She took the stage. Thanks again everyone. She might not have pulled through for me without such good advice.
And p.s., we bathed her and my other birds again. Inside, in the basement this time. We had no such problems.
