Washing eggs?

I made a little card that goes in the bucket for all first time buyers. Is just gives a couple facts abbout the bllom and how they are shelf stable until it is washed off. I explain that once they are washed, the eggs MUST be refrigerated. I tell them that these eggs are unwashed so that they can choose for themselves. I haven't had anyone be grossed out. I know 1 customer bought an egg skelter to keep hers oon the counter. Another said her husband insists on washing & refrigerating them.. my preference is to wipe poop off if there is any and set them in my skelter. I've heard they're good for a couple months. I have never had any last that long & if I did I would be afraid to test it. But our ancestors must have kept theirs out.

How do u educate your coworkers ?? What do u tell them ??
sepaditty1 response was a good one. But I talk about my girls so much, and educate/try to convert the general population on how wonderful it is to have chickens and the difference in egg quality and taste. I let them know that fresh eggs do not have to be refrigerated, unless they wash them. I teach them about the protective bloom. They are facinated. Some don't want to believe, and I tell them to go ahead and refrigerate if that makes them more comfortable, but to wash the egg before using.
