Just yesterday someone washed my incubator without me knowing about it. I have a genesis model from gqf with preset thermostat. I never have washed the top lid and components in it but this person actually flooded the lid with soap and water to wash it. I was just wondering if anyone has ever done this and still had their bator work or not. I figured I would wait and few days so maybe it would dry out and then try turning it on. It just bugs me while I wait so I was hoping for input. Thanks

Many electronics can be salvaged with a good thorough rinsing with distilled water and then dried very well. Just make sure there is no power to it, especially batteries. - written by an unemployed electrical engineer, for what that's worth
