Am i scrambling my chickies? I'm on day 6 nowand 12 or 13 of my 14 eggs seem to be developing.

I could hear the eggs clackering together during the spin cycle... came over to see them going for a wild ride in the 'bator. Help?

Yes the washing machine could certainly be scrambling your eggs. As you could hear the eggs actually touching as the machine was on a spin, I would move the incubator to stop this from happening. If it got too much you could risk damaging your eggs. It would be ashamed for this to happen and you to lose your developing embryos.

Good luck with your eggs, I hope you are able to find a more settled place for your incubator.

Is your incubator on the washing machine? If so move it, put it on a sturdy table or shelf in another room...

As for the washer if it's shaking that bad you might want to have it serviced...

Sometimes you can simply adjust the feet, level the front feet manually, they simply screw in and out, then once you get the front feet level, grab the top of the washer and tilt forward lifting the back feet off the ground and then set it back down, the back should self level... If that doesn't solve the problem you probably have a worn out bearing/bushing (costly repair) or you could have a broken or loose drum counter balancing spring (cheap repair)...

My washing machine is a full-size balancing a full-size dryer over it on the 2nd floor of my home. The plates rattle, the light fixture jangles.... everything vibrates. We know it needs aligning... just haven't gotten around to it yet.

My incubator is on my kitchen counter so it can be up and away. On the plus side, all 13 seem to be surviving as of tonight's candling.
