This is the best place online to learn about raising chickens. Jump right in and ask as many questions as you like (the search feature and the Learning Center are great places to start, too)!

What breeds of chickens are you interested in getting?
 
I'm interested in lots of breeds, not certain yet- like the laced patterns, soooo pretty, want a friendly breed who is cold hearty. I don't mind too much about productivity, I would enjoy a flock of a mix of good layers and ornamental chickens
