Unfortunately that is the same day that their high school is holding the PSAT test for this year! BUMMER!!!!

Funny you should ask! We just finished candling. Cochins didn't do so hot. We are down to 2 or 3, one if still iffy. BUT, all four of our own Old English Game Bantam Crele eggs are doing wonderfully! They are my middle DD's 4-H project, and she only has a trio. This is our first attempt at hatching any of them. So that's exciting.

We just started collecting our BLRW eggs now in hopes of setting some of them for the first time when this batch is over. Hatch day is 10/14, Thursday.

Youngest DD decided she needs some Serama eggs and wants to work with them for 4-H, so going to try and find some to add in with the BLRW. The cochins are my eldest DD's 4-H project. She just wants the BBS, I'm working on lavender & mottled cochins, BLRW, Lav & BBS Orps. I think I've convinced DH we can do another coop before winter as an add on to the new Goat Barn.

anyone know anything about serama <sp> chickens? My mom likes them lol or at least the photos online.

Funny you should ask. My 9 yr old and I have been looking at pic's all day online, and she has decided she needs some of these for her 4-H project. Anyone here have any hatching eggs?

Tell ya what... you can come pick a few from the eggs mom just ordered... I think I'm gonna need a second incubator!
