Well, haven't harvested yet. Wanted to do this first. I have just decided to cull three Mille Fleur Bantam Cochins, 2 gorgeous roos and a pullet. They are cute as can be and would make wonderful pets. The roos are nice and not agressive. I will be posting them on Craigslist as FREE for use as pets/eggs/processing. If anyone wants them from this sight let me know. They should be separated from my breeding group ASAP but I have no place to put them so the sooner they are gone the better. Have found out they carry an unwanted gene so while they are wonderful eye candy, they shouldn't be bred. Processing is OK too.

Raining REALLY hard here, occasional/rare thunder far in the distance. . .

Finally found where one of my Araucanas is brooding. Boy does she pick the most perfect, brilliant places! I couldn't think of a more snug, safe, and hidden spot.

Wow, REALLY quiet today.

Our thunder is finally advancing to "commonly heard" and it is getting closer.

So very interesting !
I saw no photos of birds on their web site, but maybe the photos are elsewhere ?

OH MY the thunder is getting CLOSE and LOUD. . . . It is scaring me, honestly.

Chickielady - interesting indeed.

Stay off the phone landlines, get your critters in and shut off your computer to avoid power surges, TVs too...if it is too close, unplug them.
Aren't you glad you do not get lightening too often ?
We have had it alot here !
