LOL....so basically...you are not telling us whether or not you are holding crows and making them lay eggs ....or if you have some black hens and calling them ole' crows...OR, he has some lil' ole' ladies in the barn and you are referring to them as Ole' crows...wait, if you had lil' ole' ladies they wouldn't be laying eggs...Okay, scratch the last one. Thanks Jen. I didn't open my hives all the way. The one that has the package bees I just lifted the tele cover and could see them through the slot in the inner cover (lots of bees). The other is a weak colony that I extracted from a barn. I did lift the inner cover and didn't see many. I will actually be surprised if they make it.
it was me.. that link with the video that taught you how to feed your chickens slugs had some videos of bee stuff too. Haven't checked it out yet. CR-our two hives are sort of the same way.. one is busier than the other one. You'd think they're teenagers the way they are sleepng in now, but one has 9 mo to go and the other 2.5 years. Just a month ago I was telling someone that my kids NEVER sleep in! Teaches me for bragging.
Maybe I should just eat it while they sleep ... after all, I did just do their morning chores for them.

lol Ive been doing this very thing for the past 6 months. lol But I'm trying to get idea's for my Ameraucana coop. I can easily throw together a quarentine coop and run out of the old heavy dog house and some pre made run panels. I just need to go pull some 4x4's outta the ground, and re-set them where I want the Ameraucana coop. I have a pre built roof just waiting to be put on beams, then walls, and all the finishing touches! Now I just need a secon set of hands, and someone else with a strong back, and I think weather permitting, I could get he new coop done in a day or two.
I just troll all the BYC coop photos and drool at all the coops I want and laugh at the ones that look fancier than most hotels I have stayed at. How much time do these people have on their hands? Likely not more than me - they are out building their coops now when they have insomnia instead of trolling the pages and dreaming about what they will never build like me!
