The barn is really nice, but I'd only use it for my Bachelors. I love the thought of each male or each couple males getting their own nice little cozy "stall," but I am in no way a fan of breeding pens, runs, etc. Except if the run is really big and filled with greens. (Like my Polish area)

OK so now ya got me REALLY confuzzled. I am still trying to figure out how we went from mailing splinters of wood boxes to ..... " The barn is really nice, but I'd only use it for my Bachelors." All in the same convo.

Illia ! I am getting the pasta out and I have 2 boxes of Tinkyada GF lasagna pasta and 1 box De Boles, and you have to cook the Tinkyada first, and the De Boles you just lay in the pyrex pan, layer with chees/sauce and more pasta no cooking the pasta first with the De Boles !!
I was thinking it was the Tinkyada that was precooked. Might work anyway...I am going to make a pyrex of Lasagna with the De Boles pre cooked pasta and use 1 Tinkyada in the middle to see if it will cook on it's own in the casserole like the De Bowles pasta does.

JB: FYI: The big boxes go outside for free to whomever at about 1 to 2 a week. Then they disapear.
They are 20 feet long and are very heavy even cut in half.
I think if you wanted 5 or 6 (that would be 12 ten foot long boxes) that you would have to have them hold them for you, and they probably would stock pile a few at a time.
They spray painted my name on a few.
I can go ask on Monday, OK ??
Other wise DH and I would have to go cut a bunch in half and stockpile them here THEN you could come get them.
We can haul 1 box at a time in our little trailer.
And it hangs out 2 feet.

It should cook up, depending on the moisture in the dish over all. It will absorb moisture as it cooks. I make my own lasagna noodles these days. I always make a bunch of pans at one time, and freeze them for quick meals. I think that they get better with time in the freezer. I frequently have the kids take home lasagnas too. I know that it helps my DiL out when she has worked late, and can barely walk. At least I know that my DS has gotten fed. He is a grump, if not fed regularly.

I would appreciate if you could ask on Monday. I do have a sawzall that I could bring to cut the boxes with. I am really going to need help though. I hope that there will be at least two or three of us to go in on this together. how tall and wide are the boxes? I think that I would want to fill the Uhaul truck if I can.

Want chocolate brown colored Cochins?

Breed Buff to Black.

Not all buffs have it, but often buffs will have what is called "dun" in them. It is a chocolate colored gene that works the same blue does, but the "dun" version of it looks exactly like chocolate. The khaki version, much like the splash version of blue, is very pale, an almost dusty color.

Black x Dun = 50% Dun 50% Black
Dun x Dun = 50% Dun 25% Black 25% Khaki
Dun x Khaki = 50% Dun 50% Khaki
Khaki x Black = 100% Dun

Here's an example of what dun looks like.

Anyway, you can try with Buffs to extract the dun from them. IF they have it. Some don't.
