T I bought some of his stuff at the show in Chehalis.. The ducks loved it. I was worried.. a little.. about them eating it, because it is so fine. Anyone else know about this? Maybe if who ever is meeting him could ask him specifically about ducks? I actually put handfuls down on the ground in lil piles, and everyone swarmed the piles.. they loved it.

Also-- are you guys feeding the All Purpose to EVERYONE? including the goats?? I always worry (can you tell I worry.. A LOT) about selenium and stuff for the goats.....

I really want to switch to his foods, and I am about ready to pick up more poultry food. T--they also have a 'drop spot' in Auburn, down of West Valley I think.... He told me where, I can't remember. Let me know if you want to try some.. I really am going to need to get something pretty soon....

Also, CMSDVM--if you are lurking around, let me know if you are also interested. I'll get in touch later with you too... just in case.

Are your goats PG or making milk? If the answer is no than you dont need to feed them grain. Do they have loose trace minerals and baking soda? I also have to give our goats BoSe for the selenium to keep them up on it in this area. You also have to check the copper in the feed and make sure they are getting it or in the minerals.
Im sorry Im trying to get on here more often to see whats going on but it just seems like the past year has been a sick year for my family. Last monday I got a call about my mother in law heading to the hospital in a aidcare. That was a long long day I tell you. She is ok right now that we know of.
Im starting to get some nice eggs again, not many since they dont have a light on them. Thought they all needed some time off. I wish it would stop raining its getting old!

ChickieLady,
Im so sorry I havent sent the soap. I will try and do it this week if I get a chance. Let me know how you like it.

Help Washington! Can anyone here tell me if I breed a lavendar orpington to a blue orpington will that be a bad thing? I have lavendars and black but have a chance for blue. I dont understand the breeding when you ad blue. I got the black and lavendar thing figured out though. I figured my people here would know. Thanks!

I just came from getting feed from Scott. Iask him if he had a pelleted feed for ducks and he said not specifically for ducks. He said he has Wheat and alfalfa pellets. He said he would just feed the all purpose.

Breeding lavender into blue is usually frowned upon as it can be very hard for some folks to tell them apart. There was a recent thread on this very topic here:
