applesauce is the worst word we can get by the BYC filters, so it is the Washingtonians evilest curse word.

I'd be willing to help out with picking or cleaning fruit etc. , but probably work schedule would interfere, but who knows. I have a little experience picking wild shrooms. Like someone else mentioned my granny smith apple tree produces a lot of apples, but they have scab etc and I don't bother. Wish I had known people were wanting raspberries, just pruned mine and they had green buds starting. Oh well next year.

Be sure to order the ones that ripen early. I think Isu (or is it Ise) is the one one you want. All the nurseries carry Fuyu, but you don't want it. I planted a persimmon tree a couple of houses ago. I wonder how it's doing.
