If there is just a week or two age difference, I probably wouldn't worry about separating them. The only exception is that I wouldn't put Day Olds in with 2-week Olds right away. But after a week or so, I wouldn't worry about it. The size difference is more of an issue than the age. Also, the breed will make a difference. For instance, I would probably put two-week old Buckeye chicks in with Day Old's and not worry about it as long as there wasn't an overcrowding issue or something.

God Bless,

Thank you! I was thinking the same thing but I think I just needed to hear it from people that really know what they are doing.

Ooh yum. Did you use bob's gluten free flour or did the recipe come withtheir own flour mix??

No Bob's Mill and no flour mix. . . That's what I meant by a new recipe.

I used to just buy Bob's Mill mixes, but now I used a new recipe this time made entirely by what I have in the house. Instead of the gross Garbanzo flour, mine is 1/3 Rice Flour, 1/3 Tapioca Flour, 1/3 Sorghum Flour based. I'm not the biggest fan of making premixed things, honestly. I like going by recipes first with what I have, then inventing or altering them to my own liking, then starting up my own recipes. We've got a whole pantry filled with almost every kind of flour out there to work with

OOOhh I need some red worms to make my worm bins... need to make bins first I think
gig.gif

when I do this spring/summer can I get some worms from ya to seed mine?

All ya needs is an old cooler box with a drain plug, a big bag of coffee grounds, a fine wire mesh on the bottom to keep the worms from drowning in coffee and lots of kitchen scraps.
I'll give you the worm starts.

Would left over screen door material work for the mesh? Ive got a few old coolers with drains sitting out in the shed. Thats really all thats needed? simple as that? I'm assuming the coffee grounds would be used? Would you leave the drain unplugged, to let excess water out?

These are not pet bunnies, and will applesauce you up.
They have claws way bigger but just as sharp as a cat's, and use them as they get scared easily.
They are not pets.
They get very big !
I would say close to 10 pounds for mature stock.

Wow! What kind of water you got up there in Raymond?
First a chickasaurous, then a snake worm and now a bunnzillah?

Hi CR!

I have some older copies of Microsoft Digital Image Suite ... PM me if you would like one. DH works there, so I usually buy a new one every other year or so. I might have some other stuff as well. I need to clean out my desk.

You can "stake" a goat out with a collar and rope/wire run. as long as they have food they are good. and then just bring em in at night. that way you can put them where they can clear the fence line for a fence. then after fence let them clear the area inside out
big_smile.png

Coyotes, Bobcats and it is too thick with brush the animal would be hopelessly tangled within minutes, and a staked out bait at night.

That is why I said bring them in at night

ETA- I usually get a lot of suckering off the raspberries in the spring. If anyone wants let me know. I'll not toss them in the yard waste. I have Prelude, Red Summit and Golden Summit.

If I can find a spot I'd love a variety!
big_smile.png

OK, I'll save them, for you. These are nice raspberries. If pruned correctly you can get 2 crops off them yearly. A summer crop from last years 1 year old canes and the new growth late summer/fall crop, till frost. I just pruned them a couple weeks ago and they were already starting to bud so new growth will be going in a couple months and the suckers are right behind that. These are root rot resistant and have been 100% healthy since I got them. I should get lots of the Prelude. They seem to be the biggest strongest canes, with the biggest firmest berries. The summits are a little softer with slighty smaller berries. With the goldens being more so than the reds.

Russ

thanks Russ!

I found all kinds of flours & starches at a local asian grocery store at a fraction of what it cost at grocery stores.
Like tapioca flour was 69cents for a pound.
Rice flour, both glutenous and regular was 79 cents a pound.
Bob's stuff I only use because DH likes to buy them when he has a craving for something, but it usually just takes up room in my pantry.
I can get you some of this stuff.
