It is just we have the one car, but I can have DH un-mothball his big nasty but runnig 1972 Impala so he would have wheels and could stay here...

Those are all some awesome quilts. I, unfortunately, do not have the restraint for that type of work...
CR- that's some cool iron work!

Feeling a little jealous of everyone's sprouts. Our garlic sprouts are only about 4" high. And all of our extra time is spent looking into houses, viewing houses, and of course thinking about all our girls (we're getting many eggs now)

so look at the chicken quilt !!
I was at my doc's office one day and saw it in a magazine and ripped right out!!!!!!!!
The only thing I do not like is that is is not really SOP birds.
So, I am doing this quilt, with birds I draw (and I am a professional artist) that are the appropriate color and type.
That is my current project.

I grew up in California (Bay Area) and there was an old abandoned apricot orchard on the hill above our house. We'd go there many times each summer for the sweetest apricots, and we'd dry them on our balcony in the sun on these huge drying racks my dad built - enough to cover the balcony. These trays are puny in comparison; and I have never been able to find apricots as sweet as those.
