Hmmmmmmm....that list is still missing folks but I don't know who. I counted and a few days ago there were 20 peeps on the list and I don't think Jean was on it. Now there's less than that.

Wow CL... those are pretty helpful photos since I'm thinking about poop trays before the coop goes up. I'll need to explain to my builders what I need - and pictures can tell the story for me! So, are those poop trays removable in case you want to do a deep clean? Or do they stay clean enough with the sand and scoop method?

The poop trays are permently afixed to the top of the nest boxes, and never need to be removed.
I simply scoop poop every few days, and dump the doodie in the compost.

Love the idea - thank you!
New sand is added every month or so, that's it.
Rarely is there any poop on the coop floor, as when they wake up, they go outside.

I think I am finally caught up with posts...and now I better go get these strawberries planted that I got from WA4-HPoultryMom !!
I think there is more games hatched...and CR:
Someone told me a few months ago here on BYC that pheasants and chickens can breed and fertilize each other.
This person (cannot remember who it was) raised Lady Amhurst and a cock bird was so in love with one of his chickens and they did mate..I have no other memory of any results he got though..would have been a beauitful chicken !

Later guys!

I had added myself to the list, but when someone adds themselves before getting through to the end of the posts, the list gets truncated.

If you do a search for "Giga Ball" there are quite a few vendors. I bought the 65" one from Hearthsong as it was the largest one I could find for under $100. They come in many sizes. Ours started tearing at the seams by the openings, and then the cells near the opening developed leaks. All the leaks were along seams. It was great fun while it lasted. At first I was upset that it did not last long, but it is a lot cheaper than renting one of those bounce houses for a party, and it lasted much longer than a rental. Not sure if I would buy one again - if they could make the seams stronger...

YES!!! If adding yourself to the list for the show, make sure you take the most recently posted list when you cut and paste!!!

pips&peeps :

Who's going to the Monroe show???

Who wants me to bring them something if it is available???

Just asking now so I can take notes and get eggs set, etc.

Besides the bantams we already talked about, I'd take a few LF blacks and LF lavs if you have them available.
