Nope, it is said that it can be very confusing for the chicks to be upright for so long and then tip them.
The egg carton also holds the egg still from rolling, so they can peck their way out without the acting just making the egg roll.
There are 7 out now..and I think I hear another~~

I think you mean Pitterpat Palace.

Yes, I got a few PM's from people. Haven't had a chance to reply back. We have 3 vehicles and only use one.
1986 Nissan Truck, white, 77k miles, 4wd (we keep it in 2wd), manual, newer tires, paint, etc
1993 Isuzu Amigo, red, 107k mi, fwd, manual, have hard top (all pieces included for soft top)- really just an A to B car, not fancy
1991 Mazda Miata, red, 127k mi, rrd, manual, hard top, hard top holder when not using (the soft top folds down even when hard top on), our daily driver, best/most fun car I've had.

And... we'll be likely keeping the truck and convertible, but selling the Amigo before moving.

mmm, we need a truck..

But burt but MY POINT was will a banty hen mating with a pheasant cause said banty hen to lay different eggs??? I thought that a hen will the same (based on her parentage) no matter what. Or am I becoming a duck cause I am all wet.

Silly Boy..her eggs would be the same as always, the sperm that fertilized the egg will effect the off spring's egg size and color.
If we want BIG eggs, we pick a Cock bird from a big egg, he will designate what size & color eggs his daughters will lay.
Not the hen, then hen will not pass that gene to her daughters.
So it would be the next generation that would be oddly colored/feathered and have different eggs & seasons of lay.
remember, pheasants lay in the spring and early summer, then stop, unlike domestic birds.
So who knows ? Have to ask a game bird farmer that has run across this situation.

I am after Illia, and want to ask if she has ever made a GF Angle Food Cake ?
Seems like it would easy, just use Rice flour or a GF baking mix..it is mostly eggs, and my favorite cake !

Also, went shopping & got a bag of Niko Niko Calrose Rice..and gonna make some and refridge it so I can try the fried rice again.
Oh, and in Monroe, I asked everyone about a Thai restaurant and no one has seen one, there is a Vietnamese one though, on Main St, called 'Basil & Chives' and of couse a few blocks from Hwy 2 DOWNTOWN where on Saturday there is NO where to park...unless we carpool from the Fairgrounds and park far away & hoof it ?
