Hello to All.
I'm new to the site and excited to finally be getting chicks (end of this month).
I live in Walla Walla and would Much welcome anyone's hellos and feedback, particularly if you are close it would be fun.
We will be getting Araucana's, RIR, cuckoo maran, and big IF I can find some Catalanas. (Hey if anyone knows where I could get those, please let me know.)

Thanks, and much fun!

Geeee, it just dawned on me that with my staggered hatches, ( 14 eggs every friday) and a smaller incubator (42 max), I have run out of room for next week's new eggs.

I don't think I want to eat live eggs either...

Wonder if I can double decker the eggs and still have a good hatch.
Anyone tried that?

How would you put it in the bator??
On top of the eggs on the turner? Will they turn too?
Too bad with all that is going on I can't just go build a bigger bator by next friday.
Bummer. I got a wine fridge in storage.

Maybe I should toss out the experimental chicken eggs.

Check out CL's chicksa few pages back. It is raining chickens at her house.
I think she has cuckoos and silkies and a BIG bird called MOT!
Alls I got are ducklings.

Come join us at the chicken show in Monroe. I'm sure someone++ on this thread will be able to fill your order with 1st class birds.
Hallerlake has some neet chickies coming soon too.
Have fun!

Does this gal sell duck eggs too? How cool.

No problem...just hide the other 10 in the basement.

Boy with scores like 7 extra eggs you just might outgrow that Brinsea mini and have to upgrade to the pretty Eco that holds what? 24 eggs? Oh yeah, that sounds about right.
