I just noticed the thing about the chicken coop....I will have to go and read it. Regarding the Tudy...I agree....get a photo of the cute Romanian. Okay, here is my story on hot/cute guys for the day. It is my mother's birthday, I have 1 day off a week, I decided to get some goodies and have her and my father over to play some canasta. Went to Safeway to pick up some groceries. The store was filled (I mean loaded) with hot college age guys...they were all over the place. Mind you, I was in scroungy clothes, hair barely brushed, no make up, and I am old enough to be the mother of most of them..dangit. Oh, well, such is my life. Ended up it was some college baseball team coming through town - no clue where they were going. Coulda' stayed here and made a lot of old women (I am sure some young ones too - but who cares about them) happy.

I have a few select birds I'm looking for....but probably won't find.

I will also be bringing some chicken necklaces & an OLD incubator....

Ha Ha! Actually, I had someone from BYC who shall remain nameless--that PM'd me and asked how I kept them on the chickens?

They are mostly children's sizes...

Oh and if you're looking for some SQ RIR bantams in either SC or RC, let me know. I know someone who has to part with his flocks of each (with over 20 years of breeding, showing, etc) and if they are as nice as his Sumatras (which his hen beat my pullet last year at Monroe) they are probably very nice birds.

I took a bunch of photos yesterday...mostly of my Orloffs & Sussex...so I had to share!

The two pullets I'm taking to the show...although I'm having second thoughts on the Coronation. She's not an accepted color so I might change my entry today to two light sussex rather than one....

And no, her tail is not crooked...I checked yesterday and it's the way her feathers are...but not at the base? I am hoping she looks better in two weeks. LOL

They were mad about being banded and didn't want to come out and see me.
