I have been fighting for disability from Social Security now for years. They make as hard as they can to get it. Even my DiL who has a very aggressive form of MS was denied. It is something we pay into, but if you need it is best not to count on it.

We need to put the politicians on social security retirement and stop giving them raises. We should also cut free medical to illegals and stop giving them social security that they never paid into. They are cutting the wrong programs.

Oh you are soooo right !!!
My state disability was completely cut, and medicare only covers some 60% right now.
My social security disability is at $600 a month or so...the birds, and eggs are paying our gas, food & spending money.
Glad I have land that is paid for (by our savings!) and we can grow our own food here..and having our own raised meat to eat.

They are really hoping you will give up. It is really hard to do without a lawyer which is stupid...should not need a lawyer to get anything from our own Gov. Keep fighting!

YOu know, all these expenses, although it ticks us off a lot is only small change.
The BIG bucks are the ones we give to really big corporations & foreign countries and the war and lots of these BIG things with strong lobbist and mumbo jumbo backing.
Medicaid is small change, but BIG news, because it hurts us regular folks the most.
