I haven't done our forms yet. I told the girls on Sunday we have to go out and band the birds going. I don't know if I have bands big enough for some of the bigger birds. Last time I went to Monroe Farm & Feed I bought all the biggest loose bandette's they had which I think were only size 9's. Does anyone have any spare size 12's? I think those are the biggest? Or bigger? Please PM me if you are willing to sell me a few!!! I probably need 4-6 of them.

I bought a pack of the ones that are every size, brass, with a tool that attaches.
So you can band them small or band them big..I will bring them.
The bands are numbered starting with MOT is #1, so you can have from 2 up...

I am eggcited to see MOT. And all the other chickens.

For specifically mille fleur Cochins, K7Menagerie on here is in Bend and she has them. I think she's planning on bringing some to the Canby swap on 4/23. Otherwise, for SQ Cochins in Washington, I usually refer people to Sheryl Butler. Her birds are AMAZING!!

That must have just started! I have 7 hens and was getting at least 6 eggs a day and when I collect in the evening there is no one in the box. Both hens you were getting were in the box together when you got here. I just assumed they were laying. Hopefully the move will break her. When ever I get a broody hen I just throw her in a new pen. All they can think about is pacing the fence to get to their old pen. After about a week they forget all about being broody and get back to biz.

DH has decided he does not want to drive home Saturday night, after the show, so we are staying until Sunday morning. I know the show is over at 2...is anyone getting together for coffee, lunch, dinner, etc afterwards? Would love to meet up with you.
