Was it you who donated a breast cancer awareness produce bag to the Monroe Chicken Show raffle ?
If so, we have seen it, T-Hi won it, lucky girl.
the bag is awesome & will be used as long as possible for grocery shopping.
I will go through my feed bags but most are Patriot farms, which I fold Up & save and return to him when I get more feed. He reuses them.

nope that wasn't me that made that one. i did see it there on the table though. mom an I were walking around with the ones i had made.

Staph is everywhere. Staph is even part of our normal body flora. You could even have MRSA and not even know it (it can be found in the nostrils of many individuals showing no signs). People who are in a weakened state of health, are very young, or very elderly, are more susceptible to staph infections. Sounds like she might have sepsis?

Oh...well we all love the one T-Hi won, so if yours are like that one, we like it.
I like the idea or repurposing an other plastic giant bag that will clog landfills and no doubt be there for a thousand years.
I was rather ticked off when Purina began using the plastic bags instead of the old paper ones last year.
But putting it to use has 2 benefits, 1) we can use it almost everyday shopping, which saves those nasty bags from use, and trees if you use paper shopping bags, and 2) It keeps the big bags out of the land fill for a short time anyway...until we can find a way to recycle them yet again.
I am not fond of pink however, but want the chick bag & the rabbit bag.
I have the rabbit bag, maybe a chick bag, I have to go look.

I forced myself to eat, didn't want to & didn't want to cook...but was getting shaky.
I guess I need to remind myself to cook & eat and breathe...this waiting is awful.

DH did not say, he is nnot very knowledgible on medical terminology other than knowing the word "infection"'
He at first said strpt..I asked if he meant staph, he sai yes.
It has been typed & is staph and should respond to antibiotics but for the length of time she sat around doing nothing about it.
I was so shocked to hear the doc sent her home after the pacemaker replacement surgery, with NO pain meds or antibiotics, she had the old pacemaker since the early 80's, and the wires extend to the heart's sinus points at the pericardium..a perfect place to infect the heart & travel throughout the body.
Dumb applesauces.
I am pretty sure she was on prednisone for anti-rejection purposes, explaining her hips dissolving...so her immunal system was suppressed, I cannot believe they did not send her home with a GIANT bottle of antibiotics!!!

Thing is, you buy eggs from MPC you are essentially buying "backyard flock" quality eggs,.. ie hatchery quality. If youi are going to undertake the expense of having eggs shipped, and the risk of straight run (where most might be boys) you might as well buy quality. Ebay would be my second to last choice. Try bidbird.com (danny padgett, a poultry judge and formerly involved with superior farms, has eggs listed currently including some nice looks RC leghorns LF), try here, try looking on craigslist and asking where they got their birds, etc. Try the ALBC, APA, ABA, SPPA, breed clubs, etc. Try contacting local 4-H or FFA clubs- support local kids. All places to start.

Yes staph is in our very saliva, but loves hard objects to grow & reproduce on most all I have read & stdied about it: Such as it coats the teeth over night, and is the white crud on your tongue in the morning.
Microscope photos show the rod-shaped bacteria stuck all over tooth enamel.

Oh, I hate the waiting.
No mention of MRSA infection, her condition is stabilized, so she may yet recover.

I have heard horror stories and seen horrors on E-bay, one nut advertises with photos of his Rhode Island Whites, standard comb purebred birds (HA There is NO SUCH THING!)
Then a few pages later I came across the same nut case, with the same pictures, advertising his pure bred White Rock eggs for auction.
Stooopid nut did not even change the photos, probably has NO RIW & just lies to people.
E-bay keeps no records of nut cases unless the rip off.
BYC can monitor those who lie & cheat.
I have eggbid, com is good to deal with.
But I have never bid there so cannot say for sure.

OK I am going outside to breath & stretch a while.

So Im wondering if anyone can let me know of good Farmers Markets that they have been to. Im trying to get ahead this year and get started signing up now for the spring summer and winter months.
thanks...

People who eat a poor diet, ie. all processed and fast food (full of fillers and junk anyway).

Ebay is the last place Id get eggs from. Well it woul dbe a close last between MPC and a lot of other places. Thers no repurcussions form ebay, they only have to get most of the eggs to you UNBROKEN and taht is all their obligation.
