i think the webcam is not like a normal camera in that is doesn't have mirrors to reflip the image.... so my images do look just like mirrors and words are backwards

good news. i have registered and passed the background check. activated my C2 and it does pulse. its purple electric looking. i do not plan to have the cartridges in it for a week or so just so i can work on getting comfortable with handling this and practicing the contact use. the probes that launch 15ft look just like fish hooks and the cartidge can be triggered by even static..... so i will wait a little while and improve my confidence.

my bf wants me to buy velcro and find a nice place for it under my steering wheel area for when i am driving my car. it makes sense as opposed to the arm console,.... i need to order the holster or a case for it... this is one item i am not sewing a case for....

yeah it sounds like a loud pop gun...... probably shouldn't be spark testing it in my dorm at this hour.... oops... if anyone asks i will blame the tv or the sewing machine not liking something i did....

just a thought. do you think that 50,000 volts is enough to kill a chicken??? i know in pig slaughter houses they shock them through the floor. could this be a useful form of killing a chicken or would it having seizures before death cause the meat to be tough? cos i just saw that food inc. and also know that cattle are lobotomized i mean out of all the ways to kill a chicken, which would be easiest of the user and the animal and least messy ( i am still a chicken cull virgin)

I think they will have ducklings and goslings from Holderreads available for auction at the show. It's a blast! I might donate a pair of Saxony ducks to the breeders auctions, since I won't have any sebastopol goslings out in time.

Part of the reason they cut the arteries in a chicken is to clean the blood out of the body, maybe stunnign them first would calm them or you down but it would still hurt.

In some states and I dont know what hte steate laws for Wa are but a taser is considered a weapon and concealing a weapon is illegal. Hiding a big knife for easy access may be considered a concealed weapon in some states. I dont know what the laws are. I would also specualte that having one in school housing if its on campus might be against the rules too. You might want to check that stuff out before.

Ive cleaned a lot of fish and birds. Im not the prettiest carcass making one but it works and I am fairly quick at it for the most part. It would seem that the back would be not too hard to clip wtih the pruning shears that I use. Ill have to try it. Anyone have a bunch of free bantams to test it out on? Roosters even? Maybe throw in some cornmeal and peanut oil too?

Awwww man, I drove around teh LONG way and did not have time to stop by all the nurseries. Got to go to McClenden's. They have tons of starts outside.
OK, I have to go to Microsoft to get my eggs.

Im lucky one of my girlfriends work for the wholesale nursery that McClendens gets their plants at. Im going to go next week and see what I can get from her...

You know what I'm dying to try at an affordable price? A lot of those new Echinaceas. I've always loved them, and the new varieties over the past 5 years are just amazing! They do very well here, but my plant budget is nil while in school. I do have some really nice seed grown varities of Oenothera and some native plants in non-traditional colors. Another thing I adore is Agastache- wonderful plant! Great scent, attracts beneficial insects... between the Agastache, Nepeta, and Salvias my garden was filled with butterflies, hummingbird moths (I have some really cool pictures of these), bees, and hummingbirds.

LOVE my plants. LOVE my garden. Particularly love a peachy pink english rose with purple sweet potato vine planted underneath. I planted that rose three years ago, and I love it even though it's trying to eat the rest of the garden. It's spectacular!

I think it is just transplant shock - I don't add heat or light (or at least did not till I moved the chicks out there), and my birds were laying near daily, even during the shortest days of winter! That's wierd too. A few months back, when I was trying to choose a breed to raise for dark eggs, I read somewhere that marans don't lay as reliably as other breeds. I don't know if that is true or just one persons opinion. In any case, I'm intrigued by the color.

That is true, I had some 30+ marans and didnt get that many eggs a day ever..

I also think this is true. While my BCM layers lay darker eggs than my welsummers, I prefer the welsummers because they are far more reliable and are a little calmer and the males a little less prone to fighting each other. The BCMs are more popular, but I wonder if this will change over time due to laying habits.

... he had said that in the past 30 years he hasn't met anyone he gets along with so well and feels there is a deeper connection and that he met me because god has a plan.... i should of realized something was weird.... for the past month he was asking if i wanted to go to church with him on wednesdays........ sigh, sometimes i think people have quirks and don't realize the greater meanings.....

Ok so that scares me now, you need to tell a teacher about this.. That man needs to stay the H away from you.

Based on what Reimaraa said about trying to make friends and in counseling group to help with that as well as homework to improve assertiveness,... I think a lonely man might have just gotten the wrong signals. I would talk to him, privately, and make clear to him that you have a boyfriend and aren't interested. That you don't mind seeing him in class but aren't able to hang out with him outside of class. Be assertive. Communicate clearly. If he tries to make you feel guilty, don't, stick to your guns. Say, "sorry, I am taken and I am not comfortable with the age difference anyway." So, basically, a firm, but polite, "Thanks but no thanks." Heck, I would even tell him, "All your attention is making me uncomfortable. I already have a boyfriend and would appreciate it if we kept our encounters on the professional level."

I will about bet it is something really stupid...they need to verify your DOB, they are changing the baby's due date, the insurance, etc, etc, etc. Just relax (I know easier said then done). Call them the second you get to work. Leave 100 messages so you are at the top of the pile. Tell them you are totally freaked out and got no sleep because someone called your house and you don't know why. Get emotional....sorry, but pull the "I am a pregnant hormonal woman" card if they try to stall you at all. Again, I bet that all is well.

I was hoping so---but the phone number on the caller ID is different than the one you call to make appointments, change appointments, etc--it's not the "reception desk."

The number when I called was the actual radiology department.

I personally know Dr. Love, is he the radiologist that is reading? I know him from Church, from our kids doing similar sports, and from mammograms

If he is your radiolotist, he is really-really nice, and calming and if he had a MAJOR concern I would have thought he would have made every attempt to contact you last night. I still believe it nothing to wory about. I do know that Dr. Love is Overly cautious and likes to double check and triple check whenever or if ever he questions ANYTHING. I still think you are good. He let me DH be in the room when I had to have a breast biopsy done on a lump (hmmmm, never did the 6 month follow up on that, probably better make an appt).

I hope you got some sleep. Try to stay calm. I pray that all is good, I am betting it is.
