there are discussions about bringing eggs back on a plane in the english orp thread and some others. there is something about going through x ray, they are considered a liquid so only so many allowed, and then some were talking about even eggs must come from tested flocks etc. and permits required. Justuschickens (Joy) has imported eggs and or birds, she could tell you what she had to go through to do it. it wasnt cheap. and I think of the eggs she only had 2 hatch out of like 100 or something.

Well, I am going to get out & do somemore work.
I got quite a bit done yesterday afternoon, and since the sky is so light late now, it was 7:30 before I realized it, and still had to put tools away.
I got the small UV light down, and put up 4 footer UV lights over my tomatoes & starter plants. and put the little 2 foot one under the kitchen cabinet so a flat of basil can grow there..very nice to see.
I have not heard from DH this morning..I assume they are going over to pick up the urn after cremation?
Don't know.

Just heard Japan had another quake, geeze, those poor people cannot get a break, must have nationwide bad joo joo ?

I cannot imagine the TONS of junk, wood, bodies, shoes with feet inside, boats & cars..who knows what all will wash up on our coastline (and Oregon) starting in a year and continueing for 3 years....everyday.......garbage...ooh, alot work to clean up.

This next tidal wave (today, actually it is night there now) will wash still more junk/bodies/people out to sea.
They just rescued a dog 1 1/2 miles out to sea from the first tidal wave..poor thing!
How long has that been, 2 weeks floating on debris out to sea with no food or water ?

They are calling it an after shock, 7.0 ????
That is a big earth quake!

JB: I am worried for your DH !!!!!
Redreiner:: Beautiful Orp Cock bird you have there...

T:; Fight it !!!

Boldog:: why didn't you tell me ?
We could have set the eggs here, I thought the 4 dozen you brought here WERE the expensive ones........

OK, I am off to get something done & maybe eat something..later guys.

I think you can get more in the UK than in the Netherlands, along with Scots Dumpey and maybe even Sulmtaler..I want Sulmtaler in the worst way...

If there is no quarrantine, why not just come home with a big box of chicks? Why bother with the low hatchability?

Did I miss something?

Chicks would have to be quarantined.
