Hi I'm from Outlook! Glad to see you here! Where did you get your Delaware's? I was interested in starting a flock! Welcome, I haven't been here long either, great source of information and comic relief!!

I go to Yakima to get my share of the WA sunshine allotment every year. That is one BIG walmart you guys have there. I try to time it with the peach harvest.
I love the mexican restaurant in the big train caboose in the middle of town. YUM.

and the huge waffles a few street down. Sorry, dunno the names of the restaurants. Always also stay till sunday to go to the farmers market before we leave. That is the coolest farmers market ever. Can't wait till summer.

counselor can do wonders when you have had a time like you have. My son is going to start seeing one also.

A day at the beach & fresh oysters may just help him too!
And we had SUN!!!!!

I'm so sad. Last night, my turner on my Brinsea Eco broke. This allowed the incubator to keep turning past the point where it usually stops. The lid fell off and half the eggs rolled out.

Luckily none broke or cracked, but they were cold when I found them this morning. Popped them back in asap and will hope for the best, but I'm sure it didn't help the hatch! I had 6 of Red Reiner's lovely Orp eggs (luckily I also put 6 under my broody Orp pullet!) as well as 13 Serama eggs from Larry and his ladies.

Please send grow baby grow vibes!!!!

Be assured a quick email has just been sent off to Brinsea.

Here's the broken arm, the little bit that broke off is at the bottom, that part is supposed to go around a screw so the turner knows when to stop turning one way and go back the other way.

Oh, sorry. I was thinkingg that was you that got knocked out. I knew that someone got their "bell rung" good. Very dangerous.

Happens way too easily, way too often; my sister was about five posts over her limit the day she clocked herself. They have an auger for setting wooden posts and a tractor-mounted power pounder for steel ones now, but my chicken project is way down the list of approved tractor use.

I forgot to say, Chickielady, that I love the names. We have had a tendency to name cattle with puns, or, at my house, pop culture connections. Right now I have a set of twin girls named Aurora and Ariel. Just lost poor Tara, who got hit in the eye with a paintball, but Willow lives on: they were born on the same day. Willow's mother was Laurel and her sisters are Anemone and Rowan. There's one line where we ran out of imagination entirely: cow Nilla, daughters Nada, Narry, and Nix. The BLRWs, who sang to each other in their dog carrier all the way back from Seattle, are Ian and Sylvia, and I'm here to swear that I forgot that the Canadian folksingers' last name was Tyson until I was looking up YouTube clips to show my daughter.
