I love to get peaches from out by Tri Cities someplace, but I have something better, 10 mature apricot trees in FiL's back acres, another excuse to go visit him, that and the 2 acres of almonds and 2 acres of big walnuts........

Oh, yeah.

I noted in the BYC standards that all profanity is forbidden; this is hard for me, as I was raised to think the S word was a technical farming term. And then I went to Evergreen...

the 'S' word here on the forum is Applesauce...as in, "I had an applesaucy day today" but we can still use farm words, as in poop, cud, cock, hen, cockeral, pullet, cow, bull, doe, buck, etc.
Teets is also OK, but not b**bs !

and don't forget cough.

Today

The black thing on his nose is a crack from aggressively trying to get a slug that fell outside the tractor; yesterday they had a small molehill in the tractor, and he spent the day rolling in damp, very black sandy soil.

They will be fine!! I just know it!! remember mine went off overnight too, I only lost two that were actually developing, the others were clear. if they are fertile you should be ok, do you need to use mine? its empty and available if you do. has a turner. its a hovabator 1588

Well the incubator itself is fine, it's just the turner that broke, which is seperate. And being that the incubator is octagon shaped, it's actually easy to turn the whole thing from one side to the next and back again. I do have my old LG I use as a hatcher since I have eggs hatching at different times. One saving grace is that they were only on day 3. I'm trying to convince myself that that is better than half way through or near the end. But I think this does call for me getting another incubator!!! LOL! One can never have too many!

But Salina, if your incubator is free, I would LOVE to borrow it!

I just picked up 36 Lavender/Split Ameraucana eggs from Monicas because her bator is full too! I told her I probably couldn't fit them all in, and I was only able to squeeze in about half. I also have about 6 Lav/Split Orp eggs I want to test for fertility and things here are getting tight! Let me know if you are serious about me borrowing yours and if you don't mind, I'll pick it up today or tomorrow! PM me!!!
