I don't mind the grey very much, but the cold is the worst. When it's cold like this I think about moving to Hawaii or some place that is warm all year around. If I read the forecast right, the forecast is saying that it will be cold until July.

Well, off to see if my LAZY chick that is trying to hatch has actually done anything. Then I am off to bed.

JB, I am going to pm you.

I am looking for a friendly mature roo, of large breed. Anyone have one. Anyone have some misc generic eggs they want to hatch?

I must admit that there are times I remind my dogs that they are edible, but I must say that I have never been hungry enough to want to try eating a dog. I don't think I could really do it.

I am so tired of this weather. It has not been wet over here, but it has been cold. There is a saying of old farmers here that potatoes have to be planted by Easter...no planting until all the snow is off of Omak Mtn. Well, lots of snow on Omak Mtn and i don't know if I can get my taters planted as it is still freezing at night. I am so tired of cold. Really windy last 2 days.

Global chilling.
I want my quota of WA sun. I got some nice sunshine this morning...went to HD to buy a load of wood to build my new vege beds.
It hailed when I got home.

What's with that?
I have half a mind to put up tent shelters so I can plant my kale out there. Its the middle of APRIL!!
Wonder if the Irish had so much trouble with their spuds.
Maybe I should look into planting Millet instead.
I'm thinking of permanently nailing the cold frames on top of my vege beds. Just got to make it tall enough. Did that last year.
Kept the bugs out too.

Singapore is 98*F all year. The sun rises & sets the same time everyday and when it rains, it pours, but it will be over in 30 mins.
There is no winter...no snow and nobody makes a living selling sweaters.

Sedona sounds good too.

I'll have two or three to chose from later this summer....all are very friendly, of breeding age and proven breeders.

Okay, keep me on the list and I will just hold out and wait. I want to hatch more eggs...this is so much fun.

It's getting pretty cold here too. It's ridiculous. My dad wants to start planting his veggy garden too but it still seems too cold. I walk to school and work to save a little extra $$$ on gas but this rain and wind just sucks to walk in. If there wasn't wind it'd be okay but the wind blows my umbrella around, I must look like a fool trying to keep a grip on it while it's going all over the place and turning inside out

Oh well a few more months and it should (IT BETTER) clear up!

I've got lots of hatching to do

I have been thinking about covering my raised bed that is planted with peas. I am going to go get some 1/2" pvc pipe and create a greenhouse cover for the bed. I am going to buy a couple of clear shower curtains for the plastic. I can get the shower curtains for 5 bucks each at grocery outlet. I want another bed at the other end of the yard. I am leaning towards having it covered too. It's just to cold for a lot of crops.
