Sigh. Now I'm having trouble sleeping because I'm worried about the girl's first night alone in the coop. I suppose it's out of the question to bring them inside every night.

Well I am caught up once again. I am sleepy, so I am going to to the hounds and head for the den. I will be back tomorrow, at least tonight my house is kind if clean. I am going to meet up with Cheri in the morning and get my light Sussex chicks from her. I am going to have to build a couple of more brooders. I have to pick-up my other chicks from my SiL I got 2 chicks out of the eggs that I bought from PipsandPeeps, at the Monroe show. One of the banties hatched and my SiL was able to buy a couple of banty chicks to keep it company. It fells like I am swimming in chicks right now.

Goodnight, sleep tight, and don't let the bed bugs bite, and if they bit bite them back.

Well up WAYYYY tooo early this morning! Get my Muscovy's today!! yeaaa! So is this how it starts? I only asked about a drake and hen, and now I'm getting three hens and a drake? How did that happen? Anyway, found out the unknown pullets and a few of the mixed Cockerels I purchased from the feed store are actually Welsummers! That's cool! Still a guess on a couple yet, I think they have a banty or two in there. The rest are Araucana's I believe. Oh wait I did get a few cornish cross, they are all supposed to be broilers. Don't know how much meat you'd get off the Araucanas, but, guess we'll see. Getting building material purchased for the new coop and finalizing the design. Really excited about that cause the incubator will be here and we will let the games begin!!
