Went to a quilt show this weekend that was in moscow. I learned a lot while there and found some really neat fabrics and I even dragged my boyfriend along. I had him pick out hunter type fabrics so I can make stuff that the hunters we get at the fruitstand would like.
Also I am going to start to learn to quilt. Apparently piecwork is the easy part which everyone says I could do easily.... Quilting is the little detailed squiggles that to me, seems hard. I would have to buy either a freemotion foot and thingy for my sewing machine or a walking foot to do straight line quilts..... but i think i will just piece many things and start out just "quilting" some potholders.... which by the way i found the cutest hen and chick triangle quilt pattern. I figured i should start easy somewhere....
Hi everyone! I was at the show all day yesterday, but I seem to have missed everyone. I'll be there this morning though, so maybe I'll see all of you.
Went to your website and looked at your Seramas. Also learned that you are in Chelan...I am in Omak....
I am getting some Seramas from Jbear for my DD to play with/show. I am hoping that she will join 4-H with them and do some showing. I am excited to get them. I will need to do some talking with you some time. Went to Wenatchee today...it was so warm there compared to Omak. Very nice. Hope you had fun in Stevenson.
