If you cut & stuff the styrofoam insulation in the spaces, and then face with more plywood (or OSB) the walls will be warmer & not get all wet & moldy from condensation.
Should be easy enough to do with a few screws to hold the walls 'in place' while the liquid nails set up.
Cut the styrofoam, cut the inner walls, apply the liquid nails & press into place & a few screws should hold it in place until set.
Liquid nails: awesome stuff.
I have to show DH these pics when he gets home, he is off the the scrap yard for plucker parts.
When it rains, he works on the plucker.
Sun, we work on the coop.
And it is cold & raining here now..with what looks like BIG thunderheads full of hail floating over.

Oh Broody, I get the coconut fiber now, just don't understand why ?

Thanks CL!
The coir is flat and compact so the eggs will roll to the back, feels nest like to the hen, they can pick at it without getting something dangerous(unlike that fake outdoor grass stuff), and like I said it's hose cleanable. I've never tried it before so it is experimental but if it doesn't work, I have lots of flower baskets that it can go in!

(like one under every window on the front of my house!) Gotta build a green house next for all my flower starts so I can cut down on my spring flower bill.

Hope these will brighten someones day and give you hope that we will get flower weather soon!

I'm gonna go out and get back to work right after this latest hail storm is over!

Pretty flowers, and is that SUN TOO ???

It is non stop big black thunderheads clear out the bay and around the curve of the pacific.
I just had to run out & staple down plastic over the lettuce as we had a nasty hail storm..........

I have tied a 24 foot x 30 foot tarp over the coop floor we are working on..tied to the fence so it is a tent now...

Maybe we can get under there & get some work done...
Can't imagine contractors & painters trying to get any work done in weather like this..but just be glad we have no tornadoes (so far knock on wood) like Illinois just had~~~~~~

I will pack & move in a heart beat if a funnel cloud ever shows it's face here.
I bet it is warmer & nice in Alaska right now...that is how it was a nasty year in the 1980s (I think ??)
It was freezing & snowy here and up there it was sunny & warm in the 70s.

I have over 50 chicks, and more meaties coming, these babies MUST have somewhere to go!!!

Sneaking on while the boss is busy, Shhhhhh! My DS is having a really hard time because of his father and he is in couseling but that just started last week. I don't think he has talked to his dad since he found out that his dad changed the locks at their house and DS's key wouldn't work anymore. I noticed that the biggest behavior change started after that. But he is an impulsive kid to begin with. He knows what he did was wrong, and is grounded at home too, through the weekend. But I did tell him that if he gets in trouble again he will be grounded for a month! Although I think that might be hardest on me!

I feel for you and your son. Your ex sounds like a grade A applesauce.

Oh yes! I have even better words for him sometimes. I try to understand, because his mom basically walked out of his life when he was young. But seriously, don't you usually want something better than you had as a kid? Why would you pass that legacy on? Oh well, we are dealing with it, and he really is an amazing kid. I just think it was too much for him to handle on his own. Thanks for the encouraging stories and words everyone! It does help.

I need a little help from Seattle parents. I'm a career nanny, 16 years experience, and the family I work for just had another baby. I'm trying to figure out what's the right addition to my pay. I don't want to overcharge, but it's a lot more work and I'm going to be feeling it every night so I do want to be properly compensated. Any parents out there with a nanny who have two kids under two who want to let me know what they pay? It would be a huge help.

Thanks!!

Pheasants require their own pen to grow up in, once brooded.
They fly, and spook easily, and need soft but strong netting, small holes so their heads will not stick through & get hung, and pliable enough that they do not break their necks as they fly up...they are also small, much smaller than chickens, and can squeeze right through a regular fence a baby chicken cannot.
Once old enough, then you can set them free, or give them back to Eagle for his further breeding programs I would imagine.

I am sick of this weather, I cannot get anything done so I may just go take a nap...applesauce !!!
