You need to pick him up (if you can) and hang him upside down and just walk all around with him. Than hold him so the other roosters can see. Thats what I did with one of my older roosters and he changed his tune real fast.

Parts of our yard had eight foot tall blackberries. I hired a crew to get them out. I knew I wasn't up to it. I'm still mowing down sprouts after three growing seasons. Come August, I may break down and use herbicide on what's still coming up.

If you were in the country Id say a pig. They are great at geting them.

THANK YOU Somebody finally agrees with what I have been telling people. Goats will eat BB shoots and some of the cane. Pigs will eat it all including the roots and then you have a nice fertilized and tilled area for garden.

When I'm building pretty much anything with a slanted roof. I go 1" rise per foot of roof width. So 4' wide roof, "from peak to eve" would be 4". I couldn't tell you what the angle would be, but thats what I go by. And it works well for our area.

Yes a really good idea is to stick with 4x8 foot dimensions, such is plywood & OSB panels, and stay on 16" centers for your studs so all will line up.

My boyfriend cured many roosters as they became flying footballs of feathers.... they never mess with me but i think its cos the roosters know he is 'my rooster' and they would be featured in the next superbowl if they tried anything with me.

some people might think its mean but that is how chicken psychology works... think of it the meanest/ bossyest ones are the leader.
