Morinin guys!!Well I just don't know what to think....my digital readout is steady at 99.4 but the humidity is staying steady at 48-49%?? I filled both chambers with water and put a sponge in there?? That's why I was thinking it wasn't working, it has to be higher than that? I'm in lock down so now what?? If the hatching humidity is supposed to be between 50-60 %??? I'm I gonna live thru this??? lol

This is why I got silkies.

I am going to let them do all the work so I don't have to worry about this.

I know, If I had a broody girl that would probably help but, my broodies went unbroodie this year, so ? don't know what happened there? lol
I'm sure once I get through this, I will figure this goofy incubator out and there will be no worries....ok maybe less worries. OK guys, it's time for me to go do the chicken dance around my bator!!

Thank you!! I found that when I searched animal verses in the bible on line! How old is your boxer? brindle or fawn?? I used to have bunches and showed for a very short time! love them!!!

He is 3 almost 4. a light brindle and from champion lines. Couldnt show though as one of his testicales(sp?) never dropped so I got him fixed. He is great with my daughter. Lets her do anything. And she will read books to him.

Oh good grief! Took me forever to get caught up!

No more chickens in my yard!

Coop is done, ugly as can be, but its done. The teens spent their first night in the new ugly coop. lol Then at 6AM they all acted like they were afraid of the ramp. Oh well they will figure it out.

All of our horse shows, points shows, playdays, games shows, everything is shut down due to equine herpesvirus myeloencephalopathy. Then not 3 miles up the road from me, a major western barn has been quarentined for a Strangles outbreak!

The poor owner of the barn has no clients anymore, even though she has done EVERYTHING she is suposed to do. There is even talk of the trail systems being shut down to equine traffic around here. What a crazy way to start out the season.

Took a road trip out to Port Townsend on Tuesday to pick up a ton of timothy orchard mix. Small bales but very nice quality for $4.50 a bale. I swear I know the owner of the property, but I cant pinpoint from where. Maby here? Anyone here live in Port Townsend, and sells / grows hay? Its driving me nutts as I can not figure out where I know him from.

Anyways I will try to stay caught up, but cant garentee that will happen! Busy busy busy around here! All 10 chicks are happy and healthy outside in their brooder! So stinking cute when they are fluffy! And these Bantams! Oh my goodness they are STILL so teeny tiny! Ive decided to put up the incubator, so if anyone close would like to try their hand at incubating, I would be more than willing to loan it out for a few months. Dont think I will use it again until fall, or if I decide to get some meat crosses from somebody. Im done building my layer and breeding flocks, the rest will all go to freezer camp in the fall. Let me know through PM if anyone close would like to use an incubator, save yourself the expense of purchasing one, just return it in the same shape its in. Sound fair? lol You would also be saving me the temptation/iritation of an empty bator! lol

At the clinic I am working at, there are multiple phone calls daily wanting information. At this point there really is no information other than don't take your horse around other horses. If you go to a rodeo, training clinic, show, etc....even without your horse, you can still carry it on your person, ie, shoes or clothes. Everyone is just being told to be careful.

Also, there are so many rumors floating around and un-truths. People are beginning to get hysterical...had a person swearing at me on the phone. I put them on hold. Another told me she heard there was a vaccination....grounds over here are being shut down too.

I am sorry for your local barn owner too. this just causes so many problems. Feel bad for her.
